The medical alert pendant is a battery powered, miniature, waterproof, supervised transmitter designed for use in emergency applications with Connect America’s format receivers. The transmitter is supplied with an adjustable lanyard with a breakaway release. Pressing the button on the transmitter sends a digitally coded wireless signal to its companion receiver.

The transmitter will send a status signal every two hours. Every two hours the transmitter tests for a low battery. If the battery tests low, a low battery signal is sent. If the transmitter is activated with a low battery, the signal indicator will light red.

The Medical Alert Wristband is a battery powered, miniature, waterproof, supervised transmitter designed for use in emergency applications with Connect America’s format receivers. The transmitter is supplied with a soft, adjustable, silicone wristband. Pressing the button on the transmitter sends a digitally coded wireless signal to its companion receiver.

The Alert Wristband sends a signal when its button is pressed. The transmitter can send a signal for up to 30 seconds per activation. The signal indicator on the transmitter lights green when the unit is activated. Every two hours the transmitter tests for a low battery. If the battery tests low, a low battery signal is sent. If the transmitter is activated with a low battery, the signal indicator will light red.

Personal Emergency Response Center Monitoring

When the phone rings in the Medical Alert Response Center, a highly-trained operator scans your vital statistics on the computer screen and carefully handles your call so you get the help you need quickly and efficiently. Whether it’s dealing with a serious emergency, or alerting your Personal Responder for assistance, or even having a friendly chat – our Operators are there for you.

To serve the widest possible number of subscribers, the Response Center employs staff who are native speakers of languages other than English. Our operators are also trained to use the International Language Line for real time translation services in 140 languages.

To ensure superior service and the safety of our subscribers, we maintain a completely redundant Monitoring Center that receives daily back up of all data, and can be brought on line immediately with no disruption of service, if the need arises.

What Happens When There’s An Emergency?

Our dedicated Medical Alarm Monitoring Professionals are ready to respond to any emergency 24 hours a Day – 365 Days a Year. Help at the push of a button.

Press the medical emergency button and a distress signal is sent, over your existing phone line, to the UL approved medical monitoring center. This signal opens up the line of communication between the monitoring center and your home.

When the high speed (2-way) connection is complete you’ll hear the reassuring voice of a professional monitoring team member. We immediately check on your status and, in the event of an emergency, dispatch your local EMS. Again, if needed, we’ll contact key holders/loved ones.

We inform the EMS with any existing medical condition or issues. This information helps prepare the EMS to assist our clients effectively and efficiently when needed most.

About Us

The Easy Living concept originated in response to the ever-changing needs of thousands of seniors in South Florida. The program is the result of years of planning and working with a number of senior communities, senior focus groups, meetings with community leaders and thousands of surveys and telephone calls. These participants identified what needs were not being adequately met and stressed the need for carefully screened, licensed and insured providers. In addition, we learned from adult caregivers that communication and personal contact with both the caregiver and the client, was extremely important, especially in a long distance situation.
